Regional Chapters
Regional and national chapter formation and support is a core focus of the IAEH as it builds on its existing global network to engage regional professionals and stakeholders in research, knowledge translation and capacity building activities that respond to regional interests and priorities.
Article 13 of the IAEH Bylaws notes that:
« The Association recognizes the significance of an active regional membership, and the likelihood that a regional chapter, or other defined sub-groups of membership may wish to operate as an integral unit within and in support of the Association. Under these circumstances, the Board may enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the regional chapter or defined sub-group of membership, within the bounds of these Bylaws and the Association’s Constitution, to specify a working relationship ».
The IAEH currently has one official regional chapter in Oceania, and is working with interested members in other regions to lay the groundwork for future chapters.
